Delete your account

You can delete your MenuMacros account and everything in it at any time. The fastest way is in the app - it takes effect immediately. If you no longer have the app installed, email us and we'll do it for you.

Delete it in the app

Open MenuMacros and go to the Profile tab.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
Confirm when asked. Your account is deleted straight away.

Ask us to delete it

Send the request from the email address you signed up with so we can match it to your account. We action deletion requests within 30 days.

What we delete

These are erased from MenuMacros immediately when the account is deleted, and there's no undo - we can't restore an account afterwards.

Your account and login details, including your email address.
Your profile - height, weight, age, sex, activity level, and your goal.
Your food likes, dislikes, and dietary preferences.
Your food log.

What we keep, and for how long

Only your purchase and billing records, kept for 6 years because UK tax law requires us to retain them. These are transaction records held by our payment providers - not your profile, preferences, or food log.

Nothing else is kept. Deletion removes your data outright rather than anonymising it, and we hold no backup copy it could survive in.

Your subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so deleting your account does not cancel one. Cancel it first:

iPhone or iPad - open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select MenuMacros.
Android - open the Google Play app, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, and select MenuMacros.
