How does MenuMacros rank dishes?

We score each menu item against your profile and goal - your height, weight, sex, age, activity level, and whether you want to lose, maintain, or gain - then sort restaurants and dishes by how well they fit, factoring in the cuisines and foods you like.

Why does the app ask for my location?

Location is used to find and sort restaurants near you by distance. It is only used to serve results to you and is never used to track you across other apps. You can turn it off in your device settings at any time.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by whichever store you downloaded from. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select MenuMacros. On Android, open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current period.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account from the Profile tab in the app - it takes effect immediately. If you no longer have the app installed, see the Delete your account page linked below and email us the request instead.

The calorie or macro estimate looks off - what can I do?

Estimates are our best guess from menu and photo data and can vary by portion and preparation. If something looks wrong, email us the restaurant and dish and we will take a look.
